Never have we had a book cause so much turmoil or controversy and left us running around wondering "what, where and whether or not"!
First! We never would have reviewed the book if it was a piece of filth so that's really not the problem. We trust Michael Webb completely and all reports on "Blow by Blow" stressed that it was very tastefully done and full of great information that women found helpful and...well...guys found it helpful too. But guys were contacting us asking US if it was cool for them to buy it for their wives or girlfriends...what they should say to their wife or girlfriend...whethe they should just leave a copy of it on the back of the toilet tank hoping that they would read it...should they email it to them...should they give it as a present and if so who's birthday...their wife or girlfriend or themselves? What a mess!
Second! We wondered if this was a wise choice for us. Whether we had stepped over the line and if people would start to question the direction our reviews were heading (in the gutter?) Heck NO! We wouldn't have reviewed either "Blow by Blow" or "Lick by Lick" if we didn't feel that they didn't hold valuable information for a couple.
You see...we asked around and it seems that sometimes a partner doesn't want to say anything concerning this aspect of a intimate relationship since it is not the most pleasant thing for some partners to do...and some will refuse outright. It is typically something that you will get an "A for effort"...but most people won't say anything even if this aspect of their relationship is poor since other parts make up for that...and it's just not complusory or absolutely necessary.
BUT! But, what if you had a book such as "Blow by Blow" or "Lick by Lick" that had so much detailed and helpful information in it that it went way beyond what even YOU might wish to suggest to your partner? How helpful would that be? It wouldn't be YOUR suggestion...it would be from a book written by an expert! That takes all the pressure off of you!
Now...even though we released our review of "Blow by Blow" first that does not mean that women need more help in this area than men. Our polls showed that more WOMEN were actually unsatisfied with how their man performed in this way than the other way around! It was actually pretty funny! Some women told us that they actually have told their partner to stop because either they were just so horrible at it that they were getting turned off of it actually hurt! So, don't worry...our review of "Lick by Lick" will be out in the very near future.
